Program Overview
- State Approved: Licensed by California Laboratory Field Services
- Training Hours: 48 hours of classroom instruction + 120 hours of clinical rotation
- Hands-On Practice: Minimum of 100 venipunctures, 25 skin punctures, and 2 arterial observations
- Admission Process: Due to high demand, participants are selected through a lottery system

Program Requirements
- Mandatory Orientation: All participants must attend
- Background Check, Drug Screen, Immunizations: Details provided at orientation
- CPR Certification: American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers required

- The state of California requires criminal record clearance through fingerprinting when applying for licensure as a phlebotomy technician
- A high school diploma or GED is also required for licensure by the State

- $3,395* – Registration Fees
