Great food safety starts in the field. The GAPs Train-the-Trainer Program is designed to prepare growers, supervisors, and farm labor contractors to effectively train fieldworkers in Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs). This interactive session equips trainers with the knowledge and communication tools to deliver food safety training that sticks—because informed fieldworkers are your first line of defense.

This course is ideal for growers and farm owners, farm labor contractors, field supervisors and crew leaders, safety coordinators or training staff, and anyone responsible for delivering food safety education in the field.

REGISTRATION FEES

  • $25 – For Qualifying Companies*
  • Includes course materials, training resources, and a certificate of completion

*The $25 registration fee is available to qualifying California Specialty Crop companies, producers, managers, and laborers. To determine if you are eligible, click here to view the list of qualifying specialty crops. During registration checkout, you will be asked to indicate the commodity you grow or work with to confirm your eligibility.

POLICIES & QUESTIONS

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations received up to five (5) working days before the course start date are refundable, minus a $25 processing fee. After that, cancellations are subject to the entire course fee. Please note that if you don’t cancel and don’t attend, you are still responsible for payment.
