SUMMARY:Grant Writing & Management for Nonprofits
DESCRIPTION:PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:\nThe Grant Writing & Management for Nonprofits certificate is a six-week professional training program designed to help nonprofit professionals successfully secure and manage grant funding. Participants learn how to identify funding opportunities\, develop compelling proposals\, build compliant budgets\, and manage grants responsibly after funding is awarded. \nThis hands-on program walks participants through the entire grant lifecycle from researching funding opportunities to submitting a complete proposal and managing the award. Participants will work step-by-step on developing their own grant proposal\, receiving instructor feedback and peer input throughout the program. \nBy the end of the training\, participants will have developed a complete mock grant proposal and presentation\, along with the tools and strategies needed to confidently pursue funding for their organization.

SUMMARY:Farm Labor Contractor Continuing Education
DESCRIPTION:PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nOur FLC Continuing Education (CE) program is a state-approved\, 9-hour training for licensed Farm Labor Contractors (FLCs) and other key agricultural supervisory personnel. The program is authorized by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) / Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE) and meets the annual continuing education requirement under California law. \nWe offer the class both online (via Zoom) and in-person (Clovis\, CA) so you can choose the format that best fits your schedule. The training covers important topics to ensure compliance with current laws and best practices — including a required 2-hour sexual harassment prevention module. \nUpon successful completion\, participants receive a certificate that may be used either to meet the annual continuing education requirement for license renewal or as part of the documentation needed to sit for the California FLC licensing exam for first-time applicants. We also report your completion directly to the DLSE for seamless compliance.
