Offered through State Center’s Training Institute\, this cohort-based\, not-for-credit program equips you with the knowledge\, hands-on skills\, and confidence to earn your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and start working in one of California’s most in-demand industries. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProgram Overview\n\n\n\n\n\n8-week\, 140-hour training (First Two Weeks\, Monday–Friday\, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM); Remaining hours scheduled per student\nELDT theory curriculum that meets all DOT requirements\nState-of-the-art simulator training for safe skill development\nExtensive behind-the-wheel training covers range and road driving\nJob placement assistance is available after program completion\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho Should Attend?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis program is ideal for motivated individuals ready to launch a new career in trucking.
